Now, What To Drink...

I am no one to judge when it comes down to beverages with curry. Whether it's a coke or Cobra, drink what you enjoy! However, if you're looking for a drink recipe which compliments Indian spices, then I am here to help. 

I've chosen a non-alcoholic and an alcoholic recipe so you can make the drink which suits your mood.

Sparkling Mango Lemonade (from Foxes Love Lemons)
Serves :6 

You Will Need:
150g Granulated Sugar
175mls Water 
2 Mango's - peeled, pitted and chopped 
225mls - 275mls Fresh Lemon Juice 
700mls Lemon Flavoured Sparkling Water 

Method:
1. In a small saucepan, stir together sugar and water. Cook over a medium heat for 4 - 6 minutes or until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let stand for 10 minutes. 
2. In a blender, puree mangoes and lemon juice until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh strainer and discard the excess. 
3. Pour mango liquid into a pitcher. Add sugar syrup and stir until well combined. Divide mixture between 6 ice filled glasses and top up each glass with sparkling water.

Serves: 2
 
You Will Need: 
100ml Vodka 
200ml Ginger Beer 
2 Lime Wedges 

1. Fill a tall glass with ice. 
2. Add Vokda and Ginger Beer to the glass. 
3. Stir thoroughly. 
4. Garnish with a lime wedge.
